And speaking of music... Bill and I caught the Future Kings of Nowhere (http://www.trianglerock.com/music/bandetail.php?actor_ID=2944) last night after the Wake LP meeting at TNN. They were minus at least one person, but I was -amazed- at what a drummer and guitarist (and two voices) could deliver. Of course, I seem to be having a thing for drummers these days, especially signing drummers. This one was adorable, and an awesome backup vocalist - though he was a bit overfussy about his equipment, it seemed.)

Such a wonderful clear sound, good melody but not -too- much melody (because I have an aversion to an excess of melody). Great voices. I had maybe heard one piece of theirs on WKNC, Bill had heard several, but every piece was immediately accessible and pleasant to listen to. Go listen to Ten Simple Murders. Now.
