Proof that Ron Paul is strictly libertarian
Libertarians are notorious book-pushers, and Paul can't resist his
moment in the spotlight as an opportunity to 'school' Rudy:

http://tinyurl.com/3xlspl

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Longshot Republican presidential candidate Ron
Paul on Thursday gave front-runner Rudy Giuliani a list of
foreign-policy books to back up his contention that attacks by Islamic
militants are fueled by the U.S. presence in the Middle East.

""I'm giving Mr. Giuliani a reading assignment," the nine-term Texas
congressman said as he stood behind a stack of books that included the
report by the commission that examined the attacks on the United
States on September 11, 2001."

Ya gotta love a guy who uses his 15 minutes of near-fame to construct
a reading list :)

Yeah, reading books is so 20th century. What's the point when you can just watch O'reilly and know what you're supposed to think?

What we really need is a politician like Rudy who doesn't read anything. This man knows what is right in his gut, just like GW.

/sarcasm off

Ron Paul in '08.

You might try a book too, honey. Sorry if the reply wasn't pithy enough for you. I'd hate to make you read too much.

Wow, I am sensing some hostility here. What I apparently failed to convey (though I did use the phrase 'ya gotta love')was that I think it's adorable that Paul responded this way to RG. It's a natural response of a rational type person, and I catch myself doing it all too often. With RP, it looks cute and geeky.

And, yes, I do actually read. I may be one of the few people to have _Human Action_ on her Palm Pilot. And I do not own have a television, so my exposure to O'Reilly and his ilk is fortunately minimal.

Lighten *up*, dude. The entire world is not out to destroy Ron Paul and Western Civilization. Make sure you know someone is really on the other side before launching an attack.

Well, then I apologize for misreading you ~ perhaps it was the "15 minutes of near fame" line.

Glad to know that you don't have Rudy's aversion to the written word.
