Looming Spring
A gratuitous flower picture. This was a great spring for daffodils. They remind me of my childhood more than any flower. I used to pick them from the pasture for my mother. When I returned to Raleigh from snowy Baltimore late last February the day my mother died, the daffodils were blooming. These are from this spring, when they came up even earlier (some started as early as January). Life continues.
