Ed on the papasan chair
Ed isn't a colliething, but while I was working (err, 'working') on the computer last night, I got these two snaps on my phone-camera (if you click on them, you'll see them full-size; sorry about the poor lighting). I did the close-up to show how utterly silly he looked with his tongue sticking out of his beak. The dogs are so good about working late - they would rather be in bed sleeping but will loll around the living room half-sleeping looking dazed and disgruntled (especially the colliething) rather than just turn in and sleep on the bed while I'm still up. Ed can sleep anywhere, anytime, though. I admire that in a dog. I've found that's a useful skill to cultivate, and spent much of my time at various universities perfecting it myself.
